Doutta Galla Aged Services' vision is to provide residential aged care service options which are affordable and inclusive of people with diverse experiences and backgrounds. We are seeking an Asset and Procurement Officer who will be responsible for administration relating to asset management and procurement. This will include projects administration, records management, secretariat duties and procurement-related activities.  What will you be doing?Providing administrative support in the preparation of capital and operational expenditure and budgets, and maintenance programsAdministering relevant policy, procedures and other documentation ensuring it meets regulatory, legislative and statutory obligationsOperating the organisation’s Facilities Management Information Systems databaseOperating the Asset Help Desk using FMISMaintaining the physical asset register & property registerMaintaining asset programs and record systems for procurement policies, practices and proceduresConducting purchasing activities for the Corporate Support Office and Aged Care FacilitiesSourcing goods, equipment and services and suppliers, and maintaining online informationAdministering procurement processes including preparation and issue of procurement plans, quotations, requests for proposal, and tenders and coordinate subsequent evaluation and award processesPreparation of purchase orders and contractsAdministration and maintenance of the centralised contract register, preferred supplier agreements, and contractor complianceAssisting with contractor induction and trainingSecretariat duties including minute and note taking, diary management and document productionProviding administrative support to the corporate office and facilities (including reception duties) as required  To be considered for the position you will have:Experience with systems and software, preferably in relation to asset management, procurement, purchasing and contract managementAnalytical and problem solving skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keepingWell developed interpersonal and customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and collaborationThe ability to work independently, and contribute to a team environmentSound written skills and the ability to prepare management reportsRelevant tertiary qualifications will be well regarded.Why work for us?Working with Doutta Galla is not just about having a job to go to.
