The role will support the workforce and visiting practitioners to provide safe, quality clinical care as part of an holistic approach to aged care that is based on the needs, goals and preferences of residents in alignment with the Aged Care Quality Standards.The Clinical Governance and Quality General Manager will take the lead role in rapid response for clinical matters at Doutta Galla’s Aged Care Homes including infection control, outbreaks and emergency response ensuring Doutta Galla is well prepared and continually strengthening its readiness to respond.As Doutta Galla’s most senior clinical expert, you will lead a team committed to delivering and supporting the strategic direction and culture set by the organisation regarding the quality and safety of clinical care.Your ability to guide others using an adaptive and innovative style, with an ability to see beyond the day to day, developing and implementing key initiatives and using proven methodologies will be key to your success.You will also have:Expertise in leading and developing resource-effective organisation-wide clinical governance and quality improvement systems.Up to date knowledge of Commonwealth and State regulatory frameworks and requirements including the Aged Care Quality Standards.Highly developed collaboration, negotiation, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.Broad experience working with older people and people with disabilities.A track record of successfully defining policy and ensuring its compliance.Experience implementing and maintaining compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and achieving accreditation.A current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse with current unconditional registration.Post graduate qualifications in Gerontology, Clinical Governance, Aged Care, Aged Psychiatry, Management, Health or similar.
