It blends quietly into a heritage streetscape and is a short walk from Yarraville Gardens and the busy village centre.About the role:The Customer Service Officer the primary point of contact for the home and provides high quality, supportive customer focused administrative and reception services to the home's leadership team, residents, clients, visitors and contractors. Duties include:Prompt, efficient and couteous telephone and face to face communication In liaison with the Manager, coordinate replacement of planned and uplanned staff leave and administrative tasks relating to rostering. Administrative support for events, documents, reports, letters and newslettersAttendance at meetings and recording meeting minutes as requiredMaintaining and distributing the bed vacancy databaseEnsure all cash and / or valuables are securely stored and undertake monthly reconciliation of petty cashEnsure employee, resident, administrative and /or financial files and information are stored in a safe, secure and confidential mannerAbout you:Ideally you will bring with you:Previous experience in an administrative and/or reception role, preferably in an aged care settingStrong customer service focusAbility to use a range of office equipment including telephone system, fax machine, photocopier, etc.,Excellent communication and high level interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in liaising with a broad range of people (as you will need to engage with residents, families, staff, allied health professionals and others)Strong planning, time management, organisational and problem solving ability/skillsKnowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Packages, with an intermediate to advanced level of Word Processing and Excel Database Adaptability and be an excellent team playerWhy work for us?Working with Doutta Galla is not just about having a job to go to.
