The Role:
Reporting directly to the Learning and Organisational Development Manager you will be responsible for supporting a coordinated education program based on organisational and compliance requirements to assist staff in maintaining contemporary knowledge and skills to ensure high standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate face to face staff induction, mandatory training and general education, including preparation of relevant training resources and venues across Residential Aged Care sites (Melbourne Metro and Shepperton), Home and Community Care and Corporate Support Office
- Conduct post training analysis to ensure education is implemented into practice
- Contribute to the staff education plan in collaboration with the Learning and Organisational Development team and Clinical Educator to ensure implementation across the organisation
- Undertake ongoing assessments of the learning environment to identify continuous improvement opportunities requiring improvement
- Develop innovative and contemporary learning programs to meet identified training needs which provides opportunities for various learning styles.
As the successful candidate you will have the following experience and skills:
- Relevant experience in learning and development within the healthcare sector including Aged Care (is preferable)
- Tertiary qualified in Organisational Development /Business Studies
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles and digital learning tools
- Organised, analytical, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of the people and culture team.
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Proven success developing and delivering learning strategies and programs.
- Exceptional communications skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
