The Role:
As the Resident Services Manager at our Avondale Heights Home, you’ll lead a dynamic team to deliver high-quality, resident-focused care and services across both our Residential Aged Care home of 108 beds. You'll provide strategic and hands-on leadership, ensure operational excellence, and help foster a welcoming and inclusive community. You’ll be clinically supported by two Clinical Care Coordinators, and you’ll join a passionate and dedicated team, united in making a difference and shaping the future of aged care.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Management of daily operations of the 108-bed residential home
- Ensure responsive, high-quality care and services tailored to resident needs
- Leading, coaching, and supporting the broader residential home staff to achieve quality care outcomes
- Manage budgets, resources and service delivery performance against Key performance indicators
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, Charter of Aged Care Rights, and Doutta Galla’s policies and values
As the successful candidate you will have the following experience and skills:
- Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA Registration (with no conditions)
- Post Grad qualification in Business Management/Nursing (or a related discipline) highly regarded
- High level of interpersonal and written skills including the ability to liaise with staff, residents, their representatives and other health professionals
- Knowledge of aged care, including aged care quality standards, as well as funding and policy protocols
- Strong planning, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise accordingly
- Commitment to excellence, quality service provision and innovation
