The Role:
As Senior Admissions Officer you will be the first point of contact for many clients and families that are exploring aged care options. You will be responsible for sales and marketing strategies to achieve the targeted occupancy levels across the organisation.
The key to this role will be your ability to develop referral relationships, identify new business opportunities and develop further referral pipeline.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Networking and business development experience within hospital groups, GPs, social workers, allied health professionals and local communities
- Excellent customer service, relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills
- You will be generating awareness in the referral healthcare network of the residential, retirement living and in-home care services that we provide
- Conduct tours, explain the costs associated with entry to aged care and services while providing a welcoming experience and supporting a comfortable transition into Doutta Galla Homes and access to our services
- Providing excellent end-to-end customer service, you will provide advice and support to potential residents and their families
- Expedite enquiries and marketing campaigns into business opportunities
- Ensuring our services are ahead of hospital clinicians, GPs, allied health professionals and discharge planners resulting in greater market penetration and revenue growth
As the successful candidate you will have the following experience and skills:
- Experience in business development, sales or relationship-focused roles, ideally in a consumer or healthcare setting
- Networking and business development experience within hospital groups, GPs, social workers, allied health professionals and local communities
- Highly organised, proactive and motivated by achieving positive outcomes
- Solutions based selling based on customer needs, together with excellent customer service, relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Tertiary qualification preferably in business, healthcare or allied health and a minimum of three years of experience ideally in a Business Development Role in Aged Care or Home Care sector
- Experience working towards and achieving service and sales KPIs
- Knowledge and experience with utilising CRM tools, Microsoft Office 365 suite, government platforms and other sales tools is critical to this role
